Becoming Sovereign:
Claiming Your Story, Honoring Your Agency, and Building Our Beloved Community
Featuring McArthur Krishna, Maxine Hanks, and Amy Watkins Jensen
Join us for an evening of reflection and dialogue focused on sovereignty as a grounded spiritual practice that nurtures connection, responsibility, and community.
The evening will begin with a welcome and introductions from Emilie and Ashlie, followed by a brief grounding meditation led by Rebecca to help us arrive fully and settle into the space.
Our speakers will explore three interconnected expressions of sovereignty:
McArthur Krishna will open with Sovereignty and Sacred Self-Authorship, guided by the question, Who am I becoming? Her reflection focuses on how women claim divine authority over their minds, bodies, spirits, and stories without shame, shrinking, or apology.
Maxine Hanks will follow with Sovereignty and Revelation, centered on the question, How do I learn to trust what God has told me? She will explore personal revelation and the courage it takes to stand by it with humility and integrity.
After a short break and a brief video presentation, Amy Watkins Jensen will conclude the speaker portion with Sovereignty and Zion. Her reflection asks, If sovereignty isn’t separation, what does it look like to use agency and authority to build connection? She will focus on building trust, belonging, and shared spiritual life in relationships and community.
The final portion of the evening will be an extended Q&A, offering space for honest questions, shared insight, and respectful dialogue. Emilie and Ashlie will close the evening with final reflections.
This gathering is for anyone seeking a deeper relationship with their own spiritual authority and a vision of faith that honors both individuality and belonging.
